25 illegal immigrants rescued in the English Channel.

Twelve last week and 25 today, all claiming to be Iraqis and Iranians.
Why not just take them back to France?
They will now disappear into the UK.
There is now no risk in crossing the channel because rescue is guaranteed.

If these people could actually offer something to the country they last departed from, I'm sure that nation would welcome them with open arms, offering them all sorts of incentives to put down roots.
That this clearly doesn't happen speaks volumes (to those prepared to listen, not just hear).

They don’t all travel all the way across in a dingy, some get a bit of help from friendly french fishermen, also it’s has been known a few have come over on jet skis with the help of the local travelling community.

It is a massive risk.
All it takes is a bit of shit weather and they could die.
See the med for examples.
That's why this whole thing is so irresponsible.
People end up dying and it becomes "our fault".
Come here legally. It's not that fucking difficult.

The vote for brexit by and large was anti immigration. The irony is, there will be more not less immigration into England post brexit, because when they rock up at calais, they won't be held in camps, rather waved off to the UK.

I’ve never understood why when we pick hundreds off the coast of Libya we don’t just take them back to Libya same, if we pick them up coming from France we just drop them straight back to calais

I was told years ago that the Australians used to deploy similar tac-tics. Apparently any refugee boat the navy got hold of was towed out to sea and sunk so they couldnt use it to bring more over.
I've never bothered to find out if that was true.
